Billing transparency and how it amounted to $4.5M in added revenue

You go to an urgent care, sign forms you don't read, see a doctor for 5 minutes, and then get charged $1,000. Patient billing must be more transparent.

    • Conversational booking

Embracing the future, and not just for the future's sake: a one-day hackathon prototype that let patients talk their way to a doctor, won first place out of 20+ teams, and became the basis for PlushCare's AI self-service booking.

    • Data privacy

As the sole product designer at Integris, later bought by OneTrust and repackaged as its DataDiscovery product, I shaped how companies find and protect personal data with machine learning.

    • Hospital supply chain

Designed five zero-to-one AI products for hospital supply chain, from computer vision that captures supplies as they're opened in the operating room to the item data that makes substitutions and recalls safe.

    • Sales activity tracking

A take-home and presentation from an interview loop at MedScout: design the first draft of activity tracking, so reps can log what they do with target accounts and managers can see how their territory is worked.

    • Vehicle insurance

Before a single Rivian vehicle hit the streets, I designed the post-purchase confirmation and the insurance flow that followed it: one quote for the vehicle, the home and the adventures, without leaving checkout.

Migrating a decade-old telehealth checkout to Stripe's latest API and adding Apple Pay: months of discovery with a backend lead and a PM, launched through Optimizely without a rollback.

    • AWS Partner TV

A hub for hundreds of cloud partners and now almost 1,000 videos: a featured all-up page, search by series and a deeper set of filters, and a brand theme that still read as AWS (dark blue, grid-heavy) but felt almost playful. Built inside the existing CMS's constraints, then implemented and tested alongside the developer.

    • Product microsite

One of my first pure UX projects: nearly 10,000 pages of an older site moving into a new system. On one product microsite I set the experience, chose the photography, and designed custom components like the product comparison chart and mobile in-page navigation.

    • Bike repair operations

A take-home design test I thoroughly enjoyed. Exercises like this lack real research, collaboration, testing and implementation, but they still work the muscles to think through a creative and functional output.
